Bendigo Summer in The Park

The Deans, along with Erica Hawkey Trio, will be ''Funking Up" your Friday night in Rosalind Park. instead of sitting around home doing nothing, grab your picnic rug, blankets. pillows, kids, dogs and have your world rocked!

The Deans are launching our new EP recorded in a mudbrick farmhouse in country Vic, featuring new, up-tempo soul tunes to shake your booty. Support will be from the gorgeous folk-pop band Teacup Rhino. FREE ENTRY - beers are cheap and the pub meals are great, get in early for a feed.

The packed list of acts confirmed to perform at this year’s BB&RMF Winter Showcase event includes some of Bendigo’s best, along with some fresh faces and exciting sounds from the larger blues, soul, jazz and original music circuits who’ve put their respective hands up to support our not-for-profit community music festival. Here’s some of the acts playing the Vine on July 16:

The Deans of Soul, Catfish Voodoo, Nardia Rose Band, Matt Katsis, Kelly Brouhaha, Cameron James Henderson, The Barren Spinsters, Tasha Zappala, Tim Hulsman, Wayne Jury, Savannah Rose, William Alexander, Bill Barber & The Revellators, Dave Diprose, Mariah McCarthy, Mr Wilby & Me… with more to be announced!

So spread the word and bring a posse to the Golden Vine Hotel Bendigo on Sunday 16 July and help grow the burgeoning music scene we’ve managed to revitalise together over the last 7 years or so in Central Victoria.

Tickets for the Winter Showcase event are available at the door on the day and are $15 for adults, $5 for under-18s (with under-12s free). Friends of the Festival (FOF Members) enter free – FOF card must be presented.

The live music will start at 12pm sharp and continue through till 8pm.
